Surprise a royal enthusiast with a majestic day of regal splendour. Buckingham Palace has served as the official London residence for the British monarch since 1837 and has become one of the nation's most beloved landmarks. Now you can catch a glimpse into life inside the Palace and explore the State Rooms, where The Queen and other members of the Royal Family entertain their guests on State and other ceremonial and official occasions.
Enjoy a truly royal day out with a visit to The State Rooms, Buckingham Palace. The Palace has an incredible 19 state rooms which are used to entertain visitors with lavish Banquets, speeches and famously the Pipers. The State rooms are beautifully furnished with treasures from the Royal Collection including paintings by Rembrandt, Rubens and Poussin as well classic furniture from England and France.
The special exhibition at Buckingham Palace, Royal Animals, will focus on the Royal Family's interest in animals, drawing together works of art from across the Royal Collection acquired from the reign of George III to the present day. the first exhibition on this subject in over 50 years, it will explore the history of animals in the royal residences, from the giraffe presented to George IV as a gift from Egypt, to Queen Victoria and Prince Albert's enthusiasm for pet dogs and the continued importance of horses in modern times, during events such as Trooping the Colour and Royal Ascot.
You will then take a short stroll to enjoy your afternoon tea at The St. James Hotel which will include a selection of sandwiches, cakes, scones with clotted cream and jam, accompanied by tea or coffee.

Tipsy cake soaked in sherry and served with custard, profiteroles, lemon drizzle cake, custard tart and Victoria sponge cake
Other dishes include:
Cheshire cheese scones, made with the oldest recorded British cheese, plain scones with jam and clotted cream, as well as an array of traditional savoury sandwiches. All served on Victorian inspired Burleigh's Blue Asiatic Pheasants crockery
And washed down with a cup on an exclusive fine loose tea blend from The East India Company - created especially for St. James's Hotel and a glass of bubbly.
This experience is available Sunday to Friday, tea can be booked from 3pm until 5:30pm and the time slot for Buckingham Palace is 1:15pm
This experience will last approximately 3-4½ hours.
This experience is for two people, there will be other people there on the day.
The minimum age is 18 years old.
